Start the Project Workflow

Select the 1st work package in the project workflow

  • Select Assess the project background

  • Double click the work package to open

  • Assess the project background work package detail

  • Work package unique ID and title across the top (can be edited)

  • Back arrow to go back to the work breakdown structure

  • Status, not started is determined by the status of the tasks

  • Enter assigned to, priority, estimated start and end dates (not rolled up)

  • Describe the work package requirements, work, and latest comments

  • Select guidance

  • Contains a link to an article describing the work package

  • Enter local guidance as required

  • Best practice reminders for the work package

  • Select tasks

  • The list of tasks are displayed

  • One task has ben preloaded from the selected workflow

  • Double click the task to open

  • Task detail is displayed

  • Task unique ID and title across the top (can be edited)

  • Back arrow to go back to the list of tasks

  • Enter task assigned to, priority, estimated start and end dates (not rolled up)

  • Describe the task requirements, work, and latest comments

  • Select guidance to enter local guidance as required

  • Select the back arrow to go back to the list of tasks

  • Select the + button to add 4 more tasks

  • Select not started status to change the status

  • 1st status change changes the task and work package fill color to grey and enters the current date in start date (can edit and is rolled up)

  • Change task to done and the task fill color changes to teal, done calculates and displays % complete (rolled up to work package, deliverable, and project)

  • Not needed status is not counted for the % complete

  • Select button on right side of the green bar to hide / display not needed tasks

  • Select down arrow button to drag and drop tasks from default sequence

  • Finish all tasks

  • When all tasks are done work package status changes to done, work package fill color changes to teal

  • Work package actual end date entered, rolled up, and can be edited
